Patrick McLaughlin, APR and principal at Caldo Communications, has been invited to serve on the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Advocacy Advisory Board (AAB) to help guide ethical decision-making for the 24,000+ members of the PRSA.
Collaborating with other public relations professionals, McLaughlin is helping to educate peers within the industry and help define appropriate ethical behavior of the membership.

“It is an honor to work with the board to help PR professionals clarify expectations of the profession”, said Caldo Communication Principal Patrick McLaughlin. “Our organization is fortunate to have the ethical compass of our PRSA Code of Ethics which provides guidance and stresses the fundamental tenets of honesty, transparency and ethical advocacy on behalf of our clients”.

McLaughlin’s term runs through 2010.
